Service Projects Needed in August

HandsOn has the opportunity to help over 900 volunteers serve the Salem Community in August in small groups of 15. We are planning service days for the incoming students at both Willamette University (WU) and Corban College and the football team at Willamette University. 900 Volunteers. 6 hours. How will you leverage this resource?

1. The WU football team, serving on Saturday, August 20th between 8:30 and 11:30.
2. The incoming students at WU, serving on Monday, August 29th between 3:30 and 5:30.
3. The incoming students at Corban, serving on Tuesday, August 30th between 9:30 and noon. 

Both groups will split up into groups of 15. If you have a project that might be a good fit for one or more groups, please email us at bethechange@unitedwaymwv.org .  Please share the project ideas that you have and we will work together to finalize details.

These are annual projects that HandsOn manages. The energy and passion the volunteers share at the beginning of their college experience is a great resource for you to plan on each fall, but an even better opportunity for you to make a long-term connection. Corban and Willamette are dedicated to our community and we would love for you to be a recipient of such a powerful opportunity!
