HandsOn Connect - Volunteer Management System - Update

The new volunteer management technology, HandsOn Connect is going LIVE in JULY!




The HandsOn Network launched HandsOn Connect last summer. HandsOn Affiliates signed up in groups to transfer their own data and learn the new system. HandsOn Mid-Willamette Valley is in the 3rd group to receive HandsOn Connect. While all of us would like to have started the process sooner, it has actually been very helpful to learn from those who have already gone through the process. Anyone who is interested in seeing the new database from the volunteer perspective is welcome to visit HandsOn Greater Portland’s website at HandsOnPortland.org. We are very excited at the capabilities of this new system and we strongly believe all of you will be pleased with it as well.

We will go live the week of July 13 and start training all of you on the system in early August.  This training will be mandatory for all partners. At that time we will also ask everyone to sign an updated partnership agreement.  Rest assured that all of our staff are trained in HandsOn Connect and we are prepared to be there for all of you as you transition to the new system. With that said, we appreciate your patience during this process as all of us are new to this technology.

As always thank you for your partnership. Please do continue to post your volunteer needs on 1-800 Volunteer. Your data will be transferred to the new system and we will ensure that everything is up to date.
